Bilecik - Dismantling of a TBM Main Bearing

Project Description: 215 ton weighing main bearing of a TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) had to be dismantled to be repaired. 12 axle APMC has been used to take the main bearing out through very tight tunnels. The fact that its height is more than its width makes it hard to transport on bumpy surfaces. Slightest acceleration or braking could easily cause it to tip off. Congratulations to our experienced team who has overcome an other challenge.
