Nemport Liebherr Transportation and Installation of 2 STS Port Cranes

Project Equipments:  Demag CC1800 , Liebherr LTM 1500 and Liebherr LTM1120 and transported to assembly site with 2 unit 6 axle Goldhofer PST-SL-E SPMT trailer,2 unit 8 axle Faymonville semi trailer and 5 unit 3 axle flatbed trailer. Assembly of STS Crane completed with 1 unit Terex CC2800 - 600 ton crawler crane with - 84m + 12m Boom SSL configuration, 1 unit Demag CC1800 - 300 ton crawler crane with 84m boom SSL configuration, 1 unit Liebherr LTM 1200 - 200 ton capacity mobile Crane and 1 unit Liebherr LTM 1120 - 120 ton mobile Crane.

HAREKET HOLDS THE PULSE OF THE SECTOR

FİRST TİME İN TURKEY

       Hareket Load Engineering and Project Transport , transported the giant crane 600 meters over the sea and showed its success in the tough heavy transportation once again.

It took place fort he first time in Turkey , that a high tonnage load has been transported with a load in / out operation. The giant crane, which is 90 meters high and 1840 tons in weight, which left Batilimana in Aliağa has joined its parts, after 600 meters.  The expert staff of Hareket Engineering and Project Transportation was on the work again. The materials of the crane which has been carried  with the vessel were first downloaded with the help of a mobile crane and moved to the storage area.

The maximum weight of the downloaded parts was 110 tons and the longest was 70 m.

Installation has been done using Terex CC2800 - 600 ton crawler crane - 84m + 12m Boom, 1 piece Terex CC1800 - 300 ton crawler crane - 84m boom, 1 piece Liebherr LTM 1200 - 200 ton mobile crane1 Liebherr LTM 1120 - 120 ton mobile crane done.

The heaviest part which was 100 tons , lifted during the assembly was placed at a height of 58 m. After the operation, the crane reached 90 meters in height, 2 thousand tons in weight and 15 meters in feet.

2x26 axle and 1x 22 axle were transported with a total of 74 axels. The crane was transported in the early hours of the week with a total of 76 axles and 8 wheels per axle. It took about 8 hours to pass the 600 meters and it was loaded to the pontoon the next morning. The crane then moved from the sea to a private port with trailers.

EVERYTHİNG HAS BEEN REALİZED AS CALCULATED

Hareket Project Operation Director Samet Gürsu stated that the imbalance in the center of gravity made their work more difficult because of the narrow foot opening. First time in Turkey that a high tonnage load with in / out to be a difficult process that performs the operation. Samet Gürsu, pointed out that there are more than 600 wheels on the trailer. The distance of the transport operation, which lasted about 8 hours, was about 600 meters. About 30 people worked on this transport. Expert engineers, occupational safety experts and machine workers in the field have completed this risky project with a team work. We went as we calculated, "he said.
